This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling and processing of products. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Unload goods from trucks and transport them to storage areas.
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label and stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse floor.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 55 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Reliability and commitment to punctuality.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime when needed.
