Job Summary:
Our growing distribution center in Sacramento, California, is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels. Your contribution is vital to the success of our Logistics operations. We are committed to maintaining a secure and productive work environment, providing all necessary PPE and robust training programs that emphasize warehouse Safety . While the role is primarily focused on data and processes, some light to moderate Lifting may be involved. Responsibilities include:
  • Performing regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigating and resolving all inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Developing, implementing, and refining inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Monitoring inventory accuracy and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and management of shelf-life products.
  • Coordinating with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate inventory movements.
  • Managing inventory in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with precision.
  • Identifying and flagging damaged, obsolete, or expired stock for disposition.
  • Assisting with the physical organization and arrangement of inventory as required.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
