Join our innovative team in Austin, Texas, as an Inventory Control Specialist! We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to oversee and manage our warehouse inventory with precision. This role is critical for maintaining stock accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory levels support our operational needs and customer demands. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our Logistics operations. We are committed to a safe work environment and provide all necessary PPE , along with thorough training on best practices in inventory management and warehouse Safety . While the role focuses on accuracy, some moderate Lifting may be required. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of inventory records in the WMS.
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper put-away and retrieval of goods.
- Identifying and reporting damaged or expired stock.
- Assisting with the physical movement and organization of inventory as needed.
- Training new staff on inventory control processes.
- Contributing to process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
