We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our San Francisco, California team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, updating inventory records in our system, and assisting with receiving and put-away processes. Accurate inventory management is the backbone of efficient logistics, and your contribution will be critical to our success. We are committed to a safe working environment, requiring all employees to follow strict safety protocols and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. While not as physically demanding as some roles, there will be some requirement for Lifting and moving stock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented looking to advance within the logistics and supply chain field. Your precision will help minimize errors, optimize stock levels, and ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities include assisting with cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, and supporting warehouse staff with stock location inquiries. We use advanced inventory management software, and proficiency or a willingness to learn is key. Your role ensures we always have the right products in the right place, at the right time. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist with receiving, inspection, and put-away of incoming goods.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or excesses.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support warehouse operations by providing accurate inventory data.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with WMS software is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management best practices.
