Our St. Louis, Missouri location is seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our logistics team. You will play a key role in accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment and contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Read order slips or use scanning devices to identify and locate products.
- Pick the correct items and quantities as specified on the order.
- Verify product codes and descriptions to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for consolidation and packing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area according to established procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks when required.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to interpret order forms and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with colleagues.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- A commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
