Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Inventory Control Specialist in our Raleigh, North Carolina facility. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from receiving to stock rotation, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory control principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage stock levels and recommend reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in our logistics chain.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
