Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Manage the receipt and dispatch of inventory, ensuring proper documentation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods for efficient inventory management.
- Train other staff on inventory control best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
