In this role, you will use scanners and other warehouse technology to locate and retrieve products from various locations within the warehouse, ensuring that all picked items match the order specifications. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to our customer satisfaction. You will be an essential part of our logistics team, contributing to the timely dispatch of orders. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Teamwork and effective communication are key, as you'll be coordinating with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow. Adherence to all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order details accurately.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
