We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of reach trucks to move, position, and retrieve inventory within our high-rack storage systems. This position is key to optimizing our warehouse space and ensuring the timely fulfillment of orders within our logistics network. A steadfast commitment to Safety is paramount, and all operators must strictly follow operational procedures and consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires extensive experience with reach trucks and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and precise maneuvering of materials. You will also be responsible for daily equipment checks and maintaining a tidy work area. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement within racking systems.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on reach trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating reach trucks.
- Valid reach truck operator certification.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and work in a physically demanding role.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
