Are you an organized and efficient individual looking for a role in a dynamic warehouse environment? Our San Antonio, Texas location is hiring an Order Picker to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing items for shipment, playing a vital part in fulfilling customer orders. Your accuracy and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our distribution center. We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, can work effectively under pressure, and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Assemble and stage orders for packing and shipment.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance targets.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Awareness of safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
