Job Summary:
Are you passionate about accuracy and efficiency in a warehouse setting? Our Austin, Texas location is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the integrity of our stock. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of inventory, from receiving to final dispatch, ensuring that our data accurately reflects our physical stock. You will be instrumental in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and improving overall warehouse operations. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mind, exceptional organizational abilities, and a dedication to upholding stringent safety standards within our logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify items for replenishment or disposition.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage the organization and storage of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to maintain quality.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting and work in a warehouse setting.
  • Commitment to safety, including adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.
