Join our growing logistics team as an Order Picker in Houston, Texas! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to accurately and efficiently select items for customer orders. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, and understand the importance of safety in all tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Assemble orders, ensuring correct product and quantity.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring all orders are accounted for.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of appropriate PPE.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
