We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate for our facility in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include receiving inbound products, stocking shelves, fulfilling customer orders by picking and packing items, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding our high standards for safety and accuracy. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the diligent use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Tasks will involve standing for prolonged periods, walking, bending, and frequently performing lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and communication are essential, as you will collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a successful operation. Responsibilities:
- Unload and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately store and organize products within the warehouse.
- Pick items from designated locations to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities as directed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting, carrying, and physical exertion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
