Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Phoenix, Arizona facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse. You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of warehouse equipment, ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly without interruption. This is a key position requiring technical proficiency and a strong commitment to a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and racking systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying potential hazards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to minimize downtime.
- Proper use and maintenance of all assigned tools and equipment.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols and mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and adhering to safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats as needed.
