We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Provo, Utah. As a crucial member of our logistics department, you will operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transferring inventory between storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent operational skills, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and a meticulous approach to their work. Certification as a forklift operator is mandatory. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, so strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are required. This position involves physical demands, including frequent bending, squatting, and lifting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach, order picker).
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse, including to and from storage locations.
- Stack and retrieve palletized goods accurately.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as directed.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Possess a valid forklift certification and a strong safety record.
