Über
Join our expanding Logistics team as an Order Picker in Madison, Wisconsin! We are looking for meticulous and reliable individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders within our busy warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verifying product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely operating equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers to access inventory.
- Packing picked items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhering to all Safety regulations and the mandatory use of required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Contributing to team goals and collaborating with colleagues to optimize workflow.
- Understanding and following all warehouse procedures related to order fulfillment.
- Performing general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and reach. You must be comfortable with repetitive motions and possess the ability to handle Lifting of items up to 40 pounds regularly. Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial but not required. We value diligence, a positive attitude, and a commitment to accuracy.
