Join our busy distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us efficiently manage and fulfill incoming orders. In this role, you will be responsible for retrieving specific products from our extensive inventory, ensuring accuracy and speed. This position is crucial to our overall logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work within a structured environment that emphasizes safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities include reading order sheets, locating items on shelves or in bins, and preparing them for packing and shipment. Experience with scanning equipment and understanding inventory management principles are advantageous. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE to ensure your safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information (SKU, quantity) against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including significant lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to read and understand order specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
