Join our Houston, Texas logistics team as a Receiving Clerk. This role is foundational to our supply chain, ensuring all incoming goods are processed with accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for expertly unloading shipments, meticulously verifying contents against order documentation, identifying and reporting any damages or discrepancies, and accurately inputting receiving data into our inventory management system. Success in this position hinges on exceptional organizational skills, precise attention to detail, and the physical capacity for consistent Lifting. Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. You will contribute to maintaining a streamlined and secure receiving area, directly impacting the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming inventory.
- Confirm quantities and product details against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document and report any damages or discrepancies found during receiving.
- Accurately record all received items into the warehouse management system.
