We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida. In this key role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse, supporting both inbound and outbound logistics operations. A valid forklift certification and proven experience are mandatory. This role requires individuals with excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . You will be required to perform regular equipment checks and adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE . This position involves significant physical activity, including potential Lifting of materials. Join our dedicated Logistics team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting .
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Familiarity with various types of PPE and their proper use.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
