Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening for you in our bustling Kansas City, Missouri warehouse. This role is critical to our logistics operations, involving the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport goods, stock shelves, and load/unload trucks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for ensuring that all movements are performed safely and efficiently, minimizing the risk of accidents and damage to goods. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange materials according to established procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting objects up to 60 lbs.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems is a plus.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ability to work flexible hours if required.
