Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. This crucial role ensures the efficient flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, storing inventory appropriately, and preparing outgoing shipments for distribution. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles is essential. Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly advantageous. We foster a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable performing physical tasks and working collaboratively with other team members to meet operational demands. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities include: Receiving incoming freight and verifying orders against packing lists; Inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies; Storing received goods in designated warehouse locations; Picking and preparing orders for shipment; Loading and unloading trucks; Maintaining accurate inventory records; Operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely; Ensuring the shipping and receiving areas are clean and organized; Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE. This role requires the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing and walking.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
  • Store inventory in designated warehouse areas.
  • Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and required PPE is used.
  • Support overall logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts (certification preferred).
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE usage.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
