Border Patrol Agent Job Description

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing undocumented noncitizens at borders.

  Duties include inspecting vehicles, interviewing witnesses, conducting surveillance operations,
and analyzing intelligence data. Agents must have strong critical thinking skills and be able
to analyze evidence effectively.  It's a challenging role requiring physical fitness and mental
resilience in an often high-stress environment.  Immigration enforcement is conducted 24/7
across the nation’s land borders by Air And Marine Operations (AMO) agents on behalf of U.S Customs
and Border Protection – particularly at airports \\ those who are smuggling drug paraphernalia into the US if it has more than one ounce of usable marihuana:
