Customs Enforcement Specialist

As a , you will play a critical role in enforcing laws related to immigration and customs at our borders. Your responsibilities will include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration regulations, as well as inspecting documents and possessions to verify citizenship or potential violations.

• Detecting and interviewing individuals believed to be non-compliant with immigration rules
• Investigating documentation and belongings for discrepancies regarding citizenship status or compliance issues

This position involves enforcing U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations while working closely with other agencies. As part of this team, you'll have opportunities for professional growth, skills development, training, travel assignments across different locations within your assigned region.

• A high school diploma (or equivalent); some post-secondary education may also qualify
• Be physically fit due to extensive time spent outdoors
• Maintain top-notch situational judgment skills, particularly during emergencies
Possess efficient decision-making abilities when dealing with conflicts arising from complex situations involving highly sensitive materials such as suspicious cases,
handling volatile crowds
during times requiring extreme alertness  such like natural disaster response.
