• The primary responsibility of a CBPO is to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at U.S. ports of entry. You will be responsible for inspecting people, goods, vehicles, aircrafts & vessels arriving or departing from/to US border checkpoints; analyzing documents presented by travelers/merchandise being transported across international borders; detecting smuggling activities including narcotics/drugs trafficking items etc.; participating actively within multiagency operations (with other federal/state/local government agencies), collecting evidence effectively leading investigations accordingly when necessary!

• Your duties may include examining cargo/bags/personal belongings that have been declared on arrival which could potentially pose risks due its unsafe/unlawful nature such containers carried dangerous chemicals/restricted materials against rules set forth under pertinent statutes either domestic foreign – ensuring everything complies before releasing them onto general market place after thorough scrutiny process taking place beforehand every single item thoroughly checked again once shipped overseas afterwards receiving clearance properly following established protocols implemented nationwide hereafter immediately upon reaching destination address(es).
