We are seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the position of Customs and Border Protection Officer. This is a unique opportunity for those interested in a challenging career in law enforcement, with a focus on protecting America's borders.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations at various ports of entry along the US-Mexico border. You will work closely with other agencies to prevent smuggling and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They must also be proficient in using specialized equipment such as X-ray machines and other inspection devices.
Plicants should have experience working in high-stress environments, preferably in law enforcement or military settings. Additionally, candidates must be able to pass background checks before starting employment.Pentitions Successful candidates must complete an intensive 101-day training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
