Our operations rely heavily on reliable, high-performance phone and contact center systems to support sales, client service, and compliance teams. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and optimize our communications infrastructure.
Position Summary
The Unified Communications & Phone Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support of our enterprise phone and contact center platforms. This role ensures system reliability, call quality, compliance, performance reporting, and seamless integrations with internal tools.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing VoIP systems and contact center platforms in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Telephony & VoIP Administration
* Administer and maintain enterprise phone systems including Vonage and Five9
* Configure extensions, call flows, IVRs, auto attendants, call routing, voicemail, and call recording
* Monitor system uptime, call quality, and performance metrics
* Troubleshoot escalated telephony issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary
Contact Center & Messaging Systems
* Manage queue configurations, agent profiles, dialer campaigns, and reporting tools
* Optimize inbound and outbound call routing for performance and efficiency
* Support integrations between contact center systems and CRM platforms
* Administer related messaging and communication tools such as SendInBlue (or similar platforms)
Systems Integration & Optimization
* Maintain integrations between telephony platforms and internal systems
* Develop and document standard operating procedures and system configurations
* Recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Vendor & License Management
* Manage system licensing, renewals, and vendor relationships
* Oversee capacity planning as the company grows
* Evaluate new tools and platforms as needed
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure systems meet industry and internal compliance requirements
* Generate and analyze call center reports to support leadership decisions
QualificationsRequired
* 3–5+ years of experience administering VoIP or unified communications systems
* Hands-on experience with enterprise contact center platforms (Five9 preferred)
* Strong understanding of SIP, call routing, IVR configuration, and dialer management
* Experience managing systems for 75+ users
* Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred
* Experience integrating phone systems with CRM platforms
* Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs)
* Experience in a sales-driven or call center environment
* Experience in financial services, legal, or tax-related industries
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
