We are hiring two (2) Network Engineers.
Overview
We are seeking two hands-on Network Engineers to join a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong Cisco-based network engineering expertise with solid customer service skills. You must be comfortable working directly with clients, supporting multiple environments, and resolving complex issues across routing, switching, security, cloud, firewall, and VoIP systems.
This is not a back-office-only engineering role. You will interact with clients via phone, email, virtual sessions, and onsite visits when necessary. If you have NOC, MSP, or VAR experience and enjoy solving real-world infrastructure challenges, this is a strong opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure (Cisco-Centric)
* Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, access points, phones, and Firepower firewalls
* Support Cisco Nexus and Cisco UCS environments
* Manage Cisco Wireless Controllers (5505 and 9800 series)
* Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco and Meraki infrastructure (switches and access points)
* Configure and troubleshoot AnyConnect and site-to-site VPNs
* Support LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid network environments
* Monitor and maintain network performance within an NOC setting
Unified Communications
* Support Cisco Call Manager and Unity
* Experience with UCCX and upgrades is a plus
* Strong working knowledge of Cisco Voice environments
Virtualization & Cloud
* Support VMware environments including ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter
* Manage virtual desktops (10Zig/Thin Clients, Horizon View)
* Experience with Veeam backups
* Office 365 administration
* DNS and domain hosting support
Server & Systems Support
* Windows Server and Active Directory administration
* Windows troubleshooting (Apple support a plus)
* Anti-spam/virus solutions (AppRiver, Barracuda, etc.)
* Perform patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
NOC Team Responsibilities
* Installation and configuration of routers, switches, and related devices
* Proactive monitoring through network management systems
* Troubleshooting connectivity (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
* Documentation of network diagrams and configurations
* Ticket-based and phone-based technical support
* Scheduled maintenance and firmware updates
* Hardware and software troubleshooting
* Antivirus deployment and updates
Requirements
* CCIE preferred; CCNP or CCNA with 8+ years of advanced network engineering experience considered
* Strong background in Cisco routing, switching, firewall, and VoIP
* Working knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications (Call Manager / Express / Unity / UCCX)
* Experience working in an MSP, NOC, or VAR environment highly preferred
* Ability to drive to local client sites as needed
* Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work independently or in a team
Preferred Certifications
* Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
* Juniper JNCIP
* VMware VCP
* CompTIA A+ / Network+
