The Special Projects Project Manager is Maple Reinders' designated representative to the Owner/Client. The morals, ethics and standards of the company and its employees are to be reflected. The Special Projects Project Manager is responsible to procure, estimate, and run as the lead on projects between $500,000 to $5 million.
This person is ultimately responsible for
Securing project leads.
Providing project estimates and proposals.
Collaborate with owner and consultants to design project to meet the needs of the client.
Ensuring that a targeted margin and profit is made on every project.
Ensuring that the work is performed as per the contract documents.
Managing all project documents and financial tracking.
Completing the project with outstanding quality.
Ensuring the project is a safe workplace.
Qualifications/ Skills
University degree in Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diploma (Civil or Mechanical), or a combination of education and industry experience preferred.
2+ years' experience as a Senior Project Coordinator, Estimator, or Project Manager in the construction industry.
Knowledge of ICI construction, with focus on fit-ups and renovations.
Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.).
The ability to use/learn industry specific software programs such as Maple's Internal Project Management Software, estimating software, and MS Project.
Previous estimating experience is an asset.
Valid driver's license.

Salary Range $85,000 - $105,000 / Year (depending on experience)
