We are a national company with large clients in many different industries in California, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada. Richmond Packaging was established in 1982 and we have been enjoying a steady and aggressive growth over last several years.
· Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy focused on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and expanding market presence.
Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with clients.
Monitor sales performance and ensure alignment with corporate objectives and targets.
Coach, mentor, and support sales staff to enhance their skills and overall performance.
Provide oversight to the Outside Sales team (approximately 25% of the role).
Actively prospect and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls and/or travel (approximately 75% of the role).
Conduct high-level industry and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and effective sales solutions.
Present and promote the company's products and services to prospective clients.
Offer continuous, constructive feedback to the Outside Sales team to support growth and capability development.
Respond to key client inquiries and provide accurate, timely information regarding company products and services.
Lead and support new marketing initiatives to drive market visibility and business expansion.
Establish growth objectives for the development team and ensure achievement of targets.
· Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of flexible packaging products, solutions, and service offerings, including knowledge of competitor capabilities and the broader market landscape.
Ability to analyze client needs and effectively align them with tailored business solutions.
Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand organizational structures, business processes, and financial frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to independently manage lead pipelines from initial outreach to successful client acquisition.
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Solid knowledge of B2B sales, Packaging, national accounts, industry trends, emerging solutions, and key partner offerings to support informed business development strategies.
