RSM's Finance as a Service (FaaS) practice is looking for skilled professionals to join us at the Senior Associate level. RSM's FaaS practice blends the best of both worlds by providing candidates with all the career growth opportunities that come with working for a public accounting firm, while at the same time operating in private company environments on a daily basis. We provide accounting, technology and consulting services to private, small and medium-sized clients, with revenues ranging from $0 to $100 million. In other words, we are the accounting department for our clients. Our diverse industry base includes technology, real estate, life science, not-for-profit, consumer products and professional service organizations, just to name a few. This role requires meeting deadlines while managing multiple onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition into ongoing service delivery, including month‑end close, financial reporting, year‑end audit support, and budget and forecasting support. In addition, you will have the ability to learn and efficiently use our best-in-class technology stack. This position will have contact with our clients (CEO, COO, CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, etc.), as well as other client contacts including tax and professional service providers.

Responsibilities
This is a hands‑on role responsible for onboarding new clients to support efficient delivery of ongoing services, including meeting management, document control and ongoing assistance for consultants. Duties include:
Oversee and support onboarding activities for all new clients
Oversee and assist consultants with contracting process for all clients
Support onboarding activities for all new clients
Reviews documents for completeness and accuracy for final approval by consultants
Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues and client
Serve as administrative point of contact for RSM teams to deliver a consistent and positive client experience
Assist with filing, archiving, photocopying, correspondence, scanning, faxing, preparing and distribution of documents and other material
Define and document repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future administrative projects.
Execute standardized processes and improvements within the engagement management process to ensure consistent and effective services are provided
Participate in execution of team initiatives and action items including participation in conferences or other training, and develop specialized support to an industry or line of business
Schedule and orchestrate meeting logistics, assist with the development of presentation materials, recording and distributing notes as needed
Facilitates contracting and resourcing across multiple clients
Initiate necessary processes to ensure compliance with RSM, independence, and regulatory guidelines
Complete data entry from executed contracts into consulting supported systems
Effectively delegate to and leverage team members to help meet business objectives
Manage time appropriately across multiple projects
Maintaining task lists and following up on open items
Supporting client engagement team by
providing high level administrative support to engagement teams by reviewing, entering, and editing key data to initiate contracting and client onboarding processes
Maintains current and developing further knowledge by use of firm systems and software, policies, templates, and deliverables for assigned service lines
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must (proactively communicates status, issues, conflicts, and priorities up, down and across the engagement team)
Ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously plus excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment preferred but not required
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to change effectively
Experience with RSM systems (i.e. CRM, MDM, CLEAR, InTrust, GIA, DocuSign, Smartsheet, SharePoint TeamDocs, Workday, CRS, DCM. ServiceNow) preferred.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $68,000 - $108,500
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
