We are seeking an experienced QuickBooks Online expert with strong Square integration experience to help streamline accounting for our restaurant group.
We operate 13 restaurant locations using Square, and we need someone to properly integrate Square with QuickBooks Online (QBO) in a clean, organized, and scalable way.
This is a project-based engagement with potential for ongoing bookkeeping/accounting support if it's a good fit.
Project Scope
The goal is to ensure Square sales data flows into QuickBooks Online accurately and efficiently, with proper mapping and reconciliation.
Specifically, we need:
Integration of 13 Square restaurant locations into QuickBooks Online
Importing daily summary sales reports (NOT individual transactions)
Sales reports broken out by:
Location
Item category
Proper mapping of Square item categories to corresponding income categories in QuickBooks
Accurate recording of:
Sales
Taxes
Fees
Tips
Proper reconciliation of Square payouts to bank deposits
Clean, audit-ready reporting structure
We want a clean system that is efficient, easy to maintain, and aligned with restaurant accounting best practices.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Intuit QuickBooks, Square
