Join our thriving logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting customer expectations and company standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing packages.
- Coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Inspecting outgoing goods for accuracy and proper packaging.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicating with internal teams and external customers regarding shipping status.
- Ensuring that all shipping activities comply with company policies and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock organization as needed.
- Performing general warehouse duties as required, including occasional lifting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. While direct lifting may be less frequent than other warehouse roles, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds is necessary. A commitment to safety in all logistics operations is crucial.
