We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes, and implementing strategies to minimize discrepancies. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock rotation to ensure product freshness and prevent obsolescence.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and report any damaged or defective goods.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the return process for inventory items.
- Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in WMS software and data entry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of **Logistics** operations is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of **Safety** in all activities.
