We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Seattle, Washington. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse logistics, supporting both inbound and outbound activities. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and securely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, stock placement, and order picking as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols, including proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
