Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials in our warehouse. This role is crucial to our daily logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks, maintain equipment, and adhere strictly to all safety regulations.   • Operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Moving and stacking products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Conducting daily equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping and organizing.
  • Understanding and following all Logistics procedures.
  • Ensuring all Lifting requirements are met safely.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
