Job Summary:
Join our innovative team as a Distribution Center Associate in Austin, Texas! This role is essential to the success of our logistics network, focusing on the efficient and accurate processing of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storing inventory to picking and shipping orders. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform all receiving functions, including unloading trucks, verifying packing slips, and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately stock incoming merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
  • Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movements.
  • Retrieve products from storage locations to fulfill customer orders with precision.
  • Package items securely for shipment, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, staging, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting and stocktaking.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center, following all Safety protocols.
  • Operate various material handling equipment, adhering to operational guidelines and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to handle regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE, including work boots and protective eyewear.
  • A solid understanding of workplace Safety procedures and a commitment to adhering to them.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
