We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler at our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions, focusing on the efficient movement and organization of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory. You will assist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming shipments, as well as stocking materials in their designated locations. Preparing outgoing shipments and ensuring order accuracy will also be key responsibilities. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you will be trained on and required to follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent and heavy lifting. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, particularly with material handling equipment, is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move, stack, and store inventory accurately.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and put-away of goods.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform significant lifting (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is a plus.
