This role is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload materials, move inventory, and support other warehouse functions. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a keen eye for safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. We are committed to a safe working atmosphere and expect strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
