We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders according to specific requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain inventory integrity through proper stocking and cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks efficiently.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and smooth functioning of the logistics operations.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies or safety concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to following them.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts when necessary.
