Our San Antonio, Texas location is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic fulfillment team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include picking the correct items from designated warehouse locations, verifying quantities, and carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a commitment to **safety**. You will be working with a variety of products, which may involve **Lifting** and moving items of various weights. We prioritize a **safe** working environment and require strict adherence to all **safety** guidelines and the use of provided **PPE**. This role is key to our **logistics** operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities against customer orders.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials and containers to ensure product protection.
- Securely pack orders for shipment, optimizing space and minimizing damage.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safe** packing station.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform **Lifting** and moving of packages up to 35 lbs.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements and **safety** protocols.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive **Lifting** and standing.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** best practices and **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets in a **logistics** environment.
