We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our Omaha, Nebraska warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the facility. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are staged correctly for production or shipment. A strong commitment to **Safety** is essential, as is the ability to perform significant **Lifting**. You will be trained on proper **PPE** usage and **Safety** protocols. This position plays a key role in the efficient operation of our **Logistics** chain. If you have experience with material handling equipment and a dedication to workplace **Safety**, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We value attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team within our **Logistics** operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Stage materials for production or shipment.
- Perform regular **Safety** checks on equipment.
- Ensure proper use of **PPE** at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all **Logistics** and warehouse **Safety** procedures.
- Perform **Lifting** and moving of materials as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred).
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **Safety** practices.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** operations is a plus.
- Willingness to comply with **PPE** requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
