We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is central to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the coordination of daily activities, managing inventory, and overseeing shipping and receiving processes. You will ensure that all operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently, adhering to strict **Safety** guidelines. This position requires the ability to manage **Lifting** of materials and a thorough understanding of **Logistics**. You will be responsible for ensuring all team members utilize the correct **PPE**. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your role will be vital in optimizing our warehouse **Logistics** and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing direction and support.
- Ensure adherence to all **Safety** regulations and procedures.
- Responsible for proper **PPE** distribution and mandatory use.
- Facilitate efficient **Lifting** and handling of goods.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity in **Logistics**.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **Logistics** and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of heavy items.
- Knowledge of **Safety** best practices and **PPE** usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems.
