Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Austin, Texas, warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of stock, including safe **Lifting** practices.
- Coordinate with purchasing and **Logistics** teams.
- Generate reports on inventory status and accuracy.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Ensure compliance with all **Safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist in training staff on inventory procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** up to 40 pounds.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of **Safety** protocols and **PPE** usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
