Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Seattle, Washington? We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and perform various warehouse duties. This role is critical for moving materials efficiently and safely within our facility, ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Transport goods from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
  • Stack and stage materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
  • Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with certification.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds, when not operating equipment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics and material handling equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
