Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Seattle, Washington? We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and perform various warehouse duties. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Stack and stage materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with certification.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds, when not operating equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
