This role is essential for the smooth and efficient flow of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a steadfast commitment to safety. You’ll play a key role in preventing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. We maintain a rigorous safety culture, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in maintenance or technical roles to excel within the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular diagnostic checks and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, such as conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Identify and address potential equipment failures before they impact operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure equipment readiness and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new warehouse equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and implement timely solutions.
- Tasks may involve moderate to heavy Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient logistics environment through diligent technical support.
