Our Seattle, Washington location is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our innovative logistics team. This role is critical in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of warehouse equipment, ensuring a safe and productive working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards. You’ll perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs on various machinery. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that could impact our logistics flow. - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, palletizers).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to identify and address equipment-related challenges affecting logistics.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform tasks that may involve significant Lifting and working in various warehouse environments.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety in all aspects of warehouse operations.
