Are you ready to be a key player in our Austin, Texas logistics hub? We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to manage the flow of goods throughout our warehouse. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that our workspace is organized and hazard-free. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is beneficial. We are deeply committed to the safety of our employees, and adherence to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. This position requires the ability to perform consistent lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as operate machinery like pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals, contributing to a productive and positive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Stage materials for production or outbound shipments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor.
- Comply with all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certified forklift operator or willing to become certified.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
