Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our growing operation in Richmond, Virginia. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing stock discrepancies, and ensuring the efficiency of our **Logistics** operations. Responsibilities include conducting regular physical counts, investigating variances, processing inventory adjustments, and implementing control measures. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While direct manual labor is minimal, **Lifting** of inventory for counts may be required. Strict adherence to **Safety** protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (**PPE**) are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Reconcile inventory data between physical counts and system records.
  • Process inventory adjustments and maintain accurate historical data.
  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies to reduce shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and **Logistics** teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
  • Ensure compliance with all **Safety** procedures and **PPE** requirements.
  • Assist with product rotation and stock organization as needed.
  • Occasional **Lifting** of inventory items for verification.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, stocktaking, or a related warehouse role.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of warehouse **Safety** procedures and the use of **PPE**.
  • Basic knowledge of **Logistics** and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to **Lifting** up to 30 lbs.
