The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain management and timely delivery of goods. A commitment to fostering a positive team atmosphere and ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary training and **PPE** is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse personnel.
- Ensure all **lifting** and material handling procedures are performed safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce **Safety** guidelines and procedures throughout the warehouse.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, providing feedback and performance evaluations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Coordinate with **Logistics** and transportation teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, reporting any issues promptly.
- Meet operational KPIs and targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to **Lifting** up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of **Safety** regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements.
- Experience in **Logistics** is a plus.
