Join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Order Picker! This role is central to our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets, preparing them for packing and shipment. This position demands a high level of accuracy, speed, and physical stamina. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Your role contributes directly to customer satisfaction through timely and correct order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and you will receive comprehensive training on all procedures and be provided with necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job involves significant movement throughout the warehouse and requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting. A good understanding of warehouse layout and basic logistics principles will be beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret order tickets and locate assigned items within the warehouse.
- Retrieve products from shelves and bins using appropriate equipment (e.g., pick carts, pallet jacks).
- Verify product details (SKU, quantity) against the order to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing station, ensuring correct order grouping.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including stocking and replenishment.
- Operate equipment safely and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems or scanners is beneficial.
- A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all workplace rules, including the proper use of PPE.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
